Who are we?

We are a left-wing group supporting progressive and leftist causes in Manchester. We aim to inform voters about the choices they can make at elections to support local campaigns. In preparation for the local elections in 2026, 2027 and 2028 we will try to campaign tactically to support left-wing candidates and those who support local campaigns.

What campaigns do you support?

Leftist Check MCR is a very new group with lots of room to add in new campaigns! We are in the process of coordinating with several campaigns. If you think you know of one that would be of interest let us know you can contact us on our instagram (username) or at (email).

How do I get involved?

If this interests you, please message us. Even if you can only contribute a small amount of time, that would be a big help. We are in very early stages so we need people who can do website/graphic design, send letters to their councillors, contact different campaigns, help manage a databse and anything else you can think of.
